The company sets on a new journey in 2004 : a sparkling, visual, clownesque comedy for all ages, revolving around a theme : water.

SplasH20 is a spectacle of all things wet and watery!
This original creation is composed of short visual and comic sketches played by 3 actors using a minimum of props and a maximum of ingenuity and imagination. Each scene explores the many facets of water in our lives, both its poetry and folly, using many different styles such as clown, silent film, cabaret and the absurd. SplasH20 is an innovative and touching spectacle for the whole family.

Why Water?
In fact, it is a point of departure, a provocation from an element which is omnipresent in the lives of everyone, and which continues to fascinate, amuse and terrify humanity. The spectacle was constructed from simple questions: “What are fish thinking in their aquariums?”, “Where can a simple leaky faucet lead to?”, “What would an underwater city be like?”, etc. Each question brought with it, along with many eccentric responses, a particular style. The resulting scenes contain a variety of intriguing characters in situations that push our borders of reality to give audiences a glimpse of bizarre worlds that will entertain the senses.

Created and performed by Houppz! theatre's three comedians, SplaH2O succesfully went across Canada from PEI to BC, since 2005.

The True Story of Little Red Riding Hood, summer 2004

The company's first creation was a street theater show. The true story of Little REd Riding Hood, a very loose interpretation of the Grimm Brothers' tale, was created and performed by a Frenchman, a Canadian, a Swede and an American.

Do we really know evrything of Little Red Riding Hood's famous story ? Is the Big Bad Wolf as bad as they say he is ? What if in fact he was an old acquaintance of Grand-Ma ? And what if there was a little pink spark between Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf ? And what if… who knows what ?

It was a shared desire for discovery that brought together these four comedians and got them to tour the show in Central Europe. This first creation had more than 50 representations, in July 2004, in the streets of Freiburg, Bâle, Vienne, Berlin, Copenhague, Strasbourg as well as during the Scènes de rue Festival of Mulhouse.
